Contacted my new Labour MP (who has been encouraging contact) just under two months ago. No reply whatsoever. One step down from the unhelpful replies I would at least receive from the previous Conservative.

US dialysis patients are really in life-threatening trouble thanks to the hurricane. Baxter, the company that handles crucial dialysis supplies, has a huge supply problem as they were hit by the storm in N Carolina. These patients only have days to live w/out these supplies.

Yesterday was another day of medical frustrations. We got two dialysis needles in my arm... but at the end of the session, they took 30 minutes to stop bleeding, which is totally unsafe. The surgeons say they can't see any fault with the fistula. But we can't safely use it. 😟

Began rewatching DARK while on dialysis today. It really is a terrific show, blending murder mystery with noir, scifi, and thriller. The time travel plot and nonlinear narrative are cleverly constructed. And it's even more interesting the second time around.

It's 10am on a Saturday and I've already received 3 messages from my GP surgery about getting a flu jab. I've got one booked for today already anyway!

Following a change to anticipated MHRA regulatory timelines, NICE has suspended the appraisal of the Covid prophylactic Sipavibart (Evusheld 2.0). So disappointing.
