As you may, or may not, know, I am working on an open source tool for scholarly article typesetting. Whether you care about this or not (it's quite geeky in some ways, but I think important), if you speak a language other than English, then I need your help. One of the things this software has to do is to try to work out where in a document we might find a list of works cited by either a scientist or a scholar. We have various ways that we can do this structurally (looking for likely patterns, dates in consecutive lines in last paragraph etc.) but when those fail, we fall back to using linguistic cues.

In English, this is fairly easy. We match on a section titled "References", "Works cited" or "Bibliography". I can read French to an acceptable standard, but beyond that my language skills are limited. What I really would therefore like is for native speakers of other languages to contribute to the Google Doc of languages with suggestions for terms used in your languages. If you contribute, please do add your name and I will ensure that we credit you.

Any help you can give will benefit an open source, free project that should be of community benefit to academia. I make no money through the project.
